Well... finally made it back... My mom's doing ok, and as a bonus, I survived too. Am completely exhausted though... I'm supposed to work tomorrow, but debating just not sowing up and saying i was just too tired... I feel like i haven't slept in a month... Ah well. I'm glad to be back in Calgary now, which I realized really is home now...

So, to everyone i ditched for christmas - I'm sorry... I look froward to seeing all of you for New Year though if you can...

wlcome home Ang... glad to hear you are alright and that your mum is okay too. we missed you Christmas day but... what can you do?

As for ditching us at christmas that is as it is...... the only thing I wished I got to see was you in your Sari at midnight mass. Can't wait to see you all on new Years day.

Yay! Glad your mom is doing better, since your phone message on the 23rd was the ultimate in uninformative. Get some sleep and tell work that they can take a hike. *grin*

I'll be home on Friday, though I can't remember when. I may have to call and beg you to come help me carry crud from the Sandman. Or shell out for a taxi, but it would be around rush hour, so I'm thinking not. I might possibly just ship some of my presents home on the Greyhound. BTW, we I got a carpet cleaner! Well, one of the little spot ones -- so I'll be able to clean the Coke stains off the carpet! Also, I need to do an Ikea run at some point.

actually, work called at 9 am and woke me up and asked me to come in... and when i came home, there was a message from my dad - my mom was back at the emergency today... and just 'cause things are going so well right now, why not add a little more fun? My brother's in jail for burning down his girlfriend's apartment, and asking my dad to send him an old sabre he left at our place once, and pat got a call saying that one of the doctors that performed her heart surgery years ago was hiv positive and that there was a breach in protocols, so she needs to go in for an hiv test.

wow when things go wrong you don't fool around!!!! Is your mum alright? I hope so!!!! As for the rest I just don't know what to say..... I don't know what is worst finding out the blood you got was HIV or the doctor who was Saving your life might also have given you AIds.

Let me know if you need anything....espiecally if it is a shoulder to cry near( with your space issues) *grin*

No Tanis and I did not go to Mass... partly laziness and partly 'cause we didn't know how Tanis would get home with the buses not running on Christmas day.

Thanks for the offer... not sure right now if i want to talk or not... and no one's ever offered me a shoulder to cry *near* before... :)

As for the time thing, I've either outsmarted everyone on earth, and figured out time-travel... or LJ uses GMT for comments, and local time for posts...
